Riaz Qadri: Pakistan's high-voltage Sufi singer

It is said he doesn't only sing but his vocal chords reverberate, which has enabled him to bridge the generation gap in music by partnering with Coke Studio, which is immensely popular with the youth in India and Pakistan.


This week, our Lahore-based correspondent interviews Riaz Qadri, an exponent of Sufi music whose popularity isn't limited only to Pakistan but also spills across the Indian Subcontinent. Mr Qadri also composes his own music.
