"Pouehali" is an SBS Russian podcast where we talk about the waves of emigration from Russia and the Soviet Union. In the second season, we talk about the emigration of Jews from the USSR to Australia, which began in 1974.

Mikhail and Rosa Meltzer arrived in Melbourne from Bobruisk in 1979, bringing with them 27 suitcases of things they had bought after selling their apartment in the USSR.

Here they both worked hard to start their business. Mikhail and his partner took the first $50,000 from the bank to buy equipment.
