Is antigen testing reliable?

Across Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States, a simple test that can be bought at supermarkets, pharmacies and even petrol stations, is helping countries deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.


The use of such rapid antigen tests has been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and is now available for purchase at pharmacies.

Is this test reliable?  Kulasegaram Sanchayan talks to Gobika Srikanthan, a pharmacist who runs a pharmacy in Lithgow, and Anita Sivasubramaniam, Aged Care Specialist Pharmacist who works in a major hospital.
