Is the COVID-19 pandemic coming to an end?

Analysis of recent Omicron BA.2 data from Denmark shows a fatality rate less than 0.05 per cent, which is below influenza. Some experts, and countries believe that Covid-19 as we know, and fear is coming to an end.


Some experts warn that new variants are likely to mean some public health measures remain necessary.  One of them is Dr Sudha Seshayyan, Vice-Chancellor, Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University.
