Social Justice Day: Cause or Controversy?

The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, India has declared September 17th as, “Social Justice Day,” as a tribute to the leader of the Dravidian movement ‘Periyar’ E V Ramasamy. It has sparked controversy in some circles and has got some to repurpose their activism.
