Thailand's first execution in nine years

NEWS: A 26-year-old man has been executed in Thailand, after being found guilty of murdering a 17-year-old boy - the first execution there in nine years.

Thailand has carried out its first execution in nine years, officials say.

Theerasak Longji, 26, was executed by lethal injection on Monday, after being found guilty of murdering a 17-year-old boy in 2012, according to Thailand's Correction Department.
