“Malila: The Farewell Flower” in focus

Chaiyapruek Chalermpornpanit and Donraron Kovitvanitcha, Thai filmmakers producing Malila: The Farewell Flower, told us about the philosophy behind this touching film. Malila depicts the truth of life through two gay men and floral ornaments made from banana leaves and jasmine. The melancholy film is nominated for Achievement in Cinematography in Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2018.
