Fleeing Ukrainians 'touched' by warm welcome but some challenges remain

Ukrainians arriving in Australia say they have been touched by the warm welcome from the Australian community, but their journey to settle in has come with challenges. The Australian government has speedily processed more than 3,000 visas for Ukrainians but many are on tourist visas with no ability to work, or access to medical treatment through Medicare. The families and community groups providing support are urging the government to ensure the new arrivals can access what they need.
