People in Ukraine have celebrated their country's 2-1 win over Iceland that secured them one of the final entry tickets into the Euro 2024.

Their qualification is seen as a small opportunity to lift the spirits of a nation that has been torn by war since Russia's invasion in early 2022.
Mykhailo Mudryk's strike on the 84th minute of Ukraine's playoff match against Iceland provided them a 2-1 win and one of the final spots for the Euro 2024.
It was a goal that brought a perfect end to a journey that started almost two years ago in Dublin and the group stages of the UEFA Nations League.
