NSW will send another round of start-up companies to Tel Aviv after an agreement between Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The pair met for official talks in Sydney on Friday on the sidelines of Mr Netanyahu's historic tour of Australia - the first for a sitting Israeli prime minister.

Technology ties featured strongly during the discussions, with NSW set to extend a program to send start-up firms to an innovation forum in Tel Aviv.

Last year eight financial technology start-ups were involved in the business development program which included boot camps and access to global investors.

Ms Berejiklian said the knowledge gained would be brought back home.
