Clive Palmer has a feminist rant on Twitter

Queensland MP Clive Palmer took to Twitter to share his positive views on feminism. Unfortunately, his tweets were presented with little context and came out like a rant.

Queensland MP Clive Palmer recently took to Twitter to share his feminist views.

However the string of tweets sent out by his account seemed to come out of nowhere and have little context.

Palmer began his Twitter rant last evening with the following positive comments:

Another Australian known for taking their strong progressive views to Twitter in a similar fashion is actress Caitlin Stasey.

The star on hit US show Reign frequently uses Twitter to passionately share her thoughts on feminism, politics, and sexuality.

Most famously, Stasey sent out a string of tweets about the perverse nature of celebrity photographer Terry Richardson's work, for which she was commended.

However her tweets, too, share Senator Palmer’s lack of context and aggressively passionate nature.

Or perhaps it is the other way around?

Clive Palmer, who is not new to sharing his eccentricities with the media, told Karl Stefanovic in 2013 Rupert Murdoch’s wife was a Chinese Spy, and during the leadership spill of himself repeating “Good bye, Tony” into his phone camera.
