FEDERAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN: DAY 25

WHAT LABOR WANTED TO TALK ABOUT:

*Its vision for Australia should it get elected into office on May 18, including

*New policy announcements on youth mental health, big corporations, upgrades to public hospital emergency departments and a tax break for small businesses.

* About 500 party members

* Former Prime Ministers Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard and Paul Keating

* Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and her ministers, former federal Labor leader Bill Hayden, Northern Territory's Chief Minister Andrew Barr, South Australian opposition leader Peter Malinauskas.

* Chloe Shorten and children Rupert, Georgette and Clementine

THEY SAID WHAT?

WHAT ELSE HAPPENED?

*Bill Shorten entered the room to Paul Kelly's 'From Little Things Big Things Grow', just minutes after the man himself played at an anti-Adani rally outside Parliament House in Canberra.

*Mr Shorten then exited the room to the soundtrack of Jimmy Barnes' 'No Second Prize'.
