From the Ashes - A Fresh Start. Bushfire impacted businesses reflect on a long, slow recovery

This bushfire season, some rural businesses impacted by Australia's Black Summer fires, reflect on their long, slow recovery. Twenty nine people lost their lives, vast numbers of native animals died, homes were destroyed, and millions of hectares of farm and forested land burned. This year, fire recovery was impeded by coronavirus bans, which restricted farm labour, travel and tourism. Despite this, many who persevered are finally able to make a fresh start.
