South Korea's Ha Na Jang produced a spectacular 10-under 62 to take a stranglehold on the LPGA Taiwan Championship heading into Sunday's final round.

Playing in steady rain as she chased her third victory of the year, the 24-year-old hit a 30-yardflop shot to within a foot of the on the par-5 18th for her 10th birdie of the day.

It left her at 16-under overall, six shots clear of China's Shanshan Feng who had a five-under 67 on Saturday.

"Really surprised my play because weather so bad on the back nine,'' Jang said.

"But just be patient every hole. Just simple my thinking. Just thinking hitting the flag and hitting the fairway.''

After shooting a 69 in high wind and early rain on Friday for a share of the lead with fellow South Korean Hee Young Park, Jang had her lowest score in her two-year LPGA Tour career and matched the best round in the three years the event has been played at Miramar.

"I want keep this, my scorecard,'' Jang said.

"Always I want inside my pocket.''

Hee Young Park is sevens shots back after a 69, while Canada's Brooke Henderson and South Africa's Lee-Anne Pace each shot 69 to get to 8 under.

Sarah Jane Smith was the best of the Aussies, one of four players in a tie for 12th at five under after a third round 67.

Defending champion Lydia Ko is a shot further back after a 69, the world No.1 from New Zealand having won by nine strokes last year at 20 under.

Aussies Minjee Lee and Su Oh are well off the pace at two under after a 65 and a 66 respectively.
