Howard says 'odd man out' on donations

Former prime minister John Howard says he's the "odd man out" when it comes to political donations.

Unlike many on both sides of the political divide, he isn't against foreign, corporate or union donations.

"I think the one big change that is needed is more timely disclosure of donations, transparency is the key," Mr Howard told Sky News on Sunday.
