Australian singer-songwriter Matt Corby has shot to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week with his debut album Telluric.
The former Australian Idol runner-up's album was enough to send last week's No.1, the Cat Empire's Rising With The Sun, tumbling down eight places to No.9.
Corby released Telluric's first single, Monday, last October and followed it with another track Sooth Lady Wine in December. The album has also debuted at No.36 in the UK charts this week.
Other new entries in the albums top 10 include the late Jeff Buckley's You And I, a collection of previously unreleased tracks, at No.2, Killswitch Engage's Incarnate at No.5 and Bethel Music's Have It All (Live) at No.8.
The ARIA singles chart was mostly steady with Danish quartet Lukas Graham's 7 Years keeping the No.1 spot for a fifth straight week.
Hilltop Hoods stayed at No.3 while Alan Walker's Faded jumped up 12 places into the No.2 spot.
On the slide were Aussie electronic producer Flume featuring Kai with Never Be Like You, which slipped three places to No.7, while Sia's Cheap Thrills also dropped a few spots to No.10.
