Men stomped, cut and burnt dying kangaroo

A group of young men who ran over a kangaroo stomped on its head until it fell off and captured the act on Snapchat, the RSPCA says.

A dying kangaroo was stabbed with a knife, burnt with a cigarette and stomped on until its head fell off, while the cruel acts were captured on Snapchat, the RSPCA says.

A group of young men are believed to have hit the kangaroo with a car on June 10 and documented its torture on the social media app while it was still alive.

RSPCA South Australia has spoken with a 17-year-old from Adelaide's southern suburbs about the incident and is calling for more information to help its investigation.
