Bali bomb-maker Umar Patek has beens sentenced to 20 years in jail.
Dubbed demolition man because of his expertise in bomb making, Patek was found guilty of mass murder for his role in the 2002 bombings in which 202 people died, 88 of them Australians
Experts had expected him to get a 10-15 year sentence - the 20 year term dissapointed his lawyer Ashluddin Hatjani.
"Umar Patek was not angry about this sentence, but he felt sad. He has admitted all his actions and he was honest in this trial. He admitted everything and nothing is covered, but he also gave reasons why he did it. It should be taken into consideration in order to better alleviate the prison sentence imposed."
Patek was spared the death penalty because of the remorse he showed during his trial.
The five judges took nearly 11 hours to go through the evidence before finally handing down their sentence.

During the trial Patek attempted to paint himself as a bit part player - but expert witnesses contradicted that describing him as a well connected master bomb maker.
