Doctors at a hospital in Zamboanga first declared their patient clinically dead on Saturday after she was brought in suffering a severe fever.

The girl’s family quickly organised a funeral and a relative who went to pay her respects lifted the lid of the coffin and saw her moving before the service, .

Phone vision captured the moment her father immediately grabbed his daughter and began hugging her.

"Clinical death" is the medical term used when blood circulation and breathing stops. They may be the two necessary criteria to sustain life but consciousness can continue for several seconds.

But in a strange twist, doctors have again pronounced the toddler dead, reports.

Her parents have been advised to bury her as soon as possible to avoid the spread of disease.

The girl reportedly suffered a severe fever for many days leading up to her death. The precise cause of her death has not been published.
