Quake measuring 6.1 strikes near Tonga

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake has struck southeast of Tonga's capital Nuku'alofa, at a depth of 66km.

An magnitude 6.1 earthquake has struck southeast of Tonga.

The quake hit 277km south-southeast of the capital Nuku'alofa at a depth of 66km, the US Geological Survey says.
