Queensland's RSPCA is hoping to use the Pokemon Go craze to lure in potential owners for abandoned pets.

The RSPCA will hold its first Pokemon Go tour at its animal care campus at Wacol, in Brisbane's west, on Sunday afternoon and says there will be a Pokemon Go gym on site.

The organisation hopes the tours will allow the pets in its care to get more exposure to potential owners and hopefully find new homes.
