The search for a man who disappeared from a Queensland dance festival, where two people died over Easter, has been scaled back.

Bradley Smith, 37, hasn't been seen since he wandered away from his campsite at the Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival, near Warwick.

Emergency crews spent Wednesday and Thursday conducting ground and aerial sweeps of the area but failed to locate the man, police said.

The festival hit headlines earlier this week after a 24-year-old Maleny man and a 22-year-old Nambour woman were found dead in their tent on Monday morning.
