Sydney-Hobart's first all-female pro crew

The first all-female professional crew in the Sydney Hobart will take to the sea in proven boat Wild Oats X in this year's race.

The Sydney to Hobart yacht racewill include an all-female professional crew for the first time in its long history.

Skippered by Sydney to Hobart regular and round-the-world racer Stacey Jackson, the Wild Oats X crew of 13 will comprise eight Australians and five internationals.

Wild Oats X, which finished 11th overall last year, is the 66-foot sister ship of eight-times line honours winning supermaxi Wild Oats XI, which will also contest the race starting on Boxing Day.
