Vic man guilty of transgender incest

A Melbourne man has pleaded guilty to four counts of incest committed against his transgender stepdaughter over 13 years.

A Melbourne bricklayer has admitted committing incest with his transgender stepdaughter, who he manipulated for more than a decade by threatening to ruin her mother if she told anyone, a court has heard.

The 58-year-old, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to four counts of incest relating to 13 years of repeated incidents starting in 2002 when he told the then-19-year-old: "I know you've wanted this since your operation."

The woman, who had gender reassignment surgery in 2001, was scared of being damaged by the sex acts, which she brought to an end by secretly filming her stepfather with her iPad, the Victorian County Court heard in a plea hearing that continues.
