Tackling stigma is key to eradicating elder abuse

Those working to eradicate the abuse of older Australians, amid an increased number of cases during the pandemic, say tackling stigma will be central to addressing the issue.


Anyone who experiences, witnesses or suspects elder abuse can call the National Elder Abuse phone line on 1800 ELDERHelp (1800 353 374) for confidential information and support.
