Fijians take up the fight against climate change

As world leaders prepare to head to the UN Climate Change Conference, Pacific Island nations are calling for urgent funding to address the loss and damage caused by extreme weather events. Fiji has been called a 'hot bed' for ocean warming with crucial reefs devastated this year due to global coral bleaching events. Experts in Fiji say there is no time to wait and have adopted their own reef restoration strategy.
