Govt defends decision to park future of gambling advertising policy despite link to violence

The federal government is directly engaging with faith and ethnic organisations to address the alarming statistics. It's put in place domestic violence leave and increased support services. But the federal minister responsible is defending the decision to park the policy on the future of gambling advertising, even though harmful gambling is linked to violence in the home.
