Could space technology play a role in combating the country's devastating summer bushfires? That's a question Australian scientists, together with NASA, are hoping to answer as part of groundbreaking research into dry lightning, particularly in remote areas. SBS News’ WA Correspondent Christopher Tan is at this year’s Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conference in Perth and filed this report.
