Kakadu sacred site case reaches Australia's High Court

A legal battle that has kept one of the Northern Territory's most sparkling tourist attractions closed for four years has reached the High Court. Jawoyn traditional owners seek to hold Parks Australia legally responsible for damaging a sacred site in Kakadu. The case hinges on whether the Commonwealth should be immune from criminal charges under the Territory's laws.
