Sean Turnell granted amnesty by Myanmar Junta

After 21 months behind bars Australian economist Sean Turnell has been granted amnesty by the Myanmar Junta. The close advisor to ousted leader Aung Sung Suu Kyi was sentenced to three years jail in September for violating the official secrets act, charges he denied.
