Concerns over Burrup Materials' plans to mine around sacred rock art

Barrup Materials, the company applying to mine around sacred rock art in the Burrup Peninsula, has announced its intention to mine materials around heritage listed sites to build a marina.

Burrup Minerals Director Leon Kurt Mauritz said his company would liaise with traditional owners - but it's a conversation that has traditional owners concerned.
