The ARIA Awards is the night of nights for Australian music industry, many compare it as the Australian version of the Grammy Awards.

For the seventh year in a row, Darwin’s very own, Jessica Mauboy is nominated once again.
This year, Mauboy has been nominated for six awards including Song of the Year, Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Australian Live Act and Best Video.

Off their debut album A.B. Original also landed six nominations for their politically charged, Reclaim Australia album.

The rap duo has been nominated for the big award, Album of the Year, as well as Best Group, Breakthrough Artist, Best Urban Album, Best Independent Release and Producer of the Year.
Dan Sultan is also up for three nominations, scoring a nod for Best Male Artist, Best Independent Release and Best Rock Album.
