Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan and Electric Fields to perform at 2019 NIMAs

The annual event continues to showcase new and established Indigenous music talent.

Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan and Electric Fields have been announced as the headline acts for this year’s National Indigenous Music Awards.

Also slated to appear on stage at the Darwin Amphitheatre on August 10 will be Gumbaynggirr rapper Tasman Keith, Indigenous choir collective Spinifex Gum, Yorta Yorta soprano Deborah Cheetham, Larrakia Nation’s Kenbi Dancers and Indigenous violinist Eric Avery.

It’s the first time the awards have been held since the launch of the National Indigenous Music Chart which gives weekly insights into the achievements of Indigenous musicians.
