Former Queensland Origin halfback Scott Prince has identified a key weakness in the New South Wales side ahead of Origin II.

Prince, speaking on NITV’s League Nation Live said the Blues had gifted Queensland a clear avenue of attack, following the selection of Dylan Walker in place of the injured Josh Morris.

“Walker, with his footwork and his speed, he’ll test Inglis. But certainly with G.I (Inglis) up against him he’ll have to be on his game defensively.

“But I’m looking at it from a strategic point of view, if you’ve got Dylan Walker in the centres; you’ve also got Adam Reynolds defending inside him.

“That’s two little men, a perfect opportunity for Cronk and Thurston to play those little ‘pop’ kicks over so Corey Oates and G.I can out leap them,” Prince said.

The five time Queensland Origin representative is predicting a comfortable win for the Maroons, courtesy of a 52,000 strong home crowd.

“The sea of Maroon in the crowd is something special and the players will have the hairs on the back of their necks standing up. It’s a great honour to play for Queensland, especially at home.

“I don’t know what it is about Suncorp Stadium. When you look around and see a sea of Maroon, just wanting blood from the Blues jersey, it’s just crazy,” said Prince.
