Sprinters Matt Glaetzer and Stephanie Morton posted impressive qualifying times, with Glaetzer taking gold and Morton winning silver.
Ashlee Ankudinoff won two gold medals at the Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines velodrome outside Paris.
Ankudinoff was a member of the team pursuit quartet that qualified third fastest and then dominated the racing rounds.
The two-time world track champion and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games gold medallist also took out the scratch race.
Glaetzer qualified second fastest in the sprint behind Dutch rider Harrie Lavreysen and then beat him two heats to one in the gold medal ride-off.
The Australian's qualifier of 9.502sec was just shy of his 9.459sec personal best, set five years ago at altitude.
"I was aiming for a 9.4 but just missed it. But to do a PB after a quick freshen up after Japan, its encouraging signs," he said.
Ankudinoff teamed with Kristina Clonan, Georgia Baker and Macey Stewart to beat New Zealand in the team pursuit gold medal ride.
They clocked four minutes 16.957sec seconds to the Kiwis's 4:17.560sec.
London Olympics bronze medallist Lee Wai Sze from Hong Kong beat Morton in the sprint gold medal ride after the Australian qualified fastest with 10.516.
Morton and Kaarle McCulloch also just missed out on gold in the team sprint, losing to Russian pair Daria Shmeleva and Anastasia Voinova by one-thousandth of a second.
Leigh Howard was second in the scratch race and he combined with Kelland O'Brien to take bronze in the Madison. Baker and Stewart also won madison bronze.
