Lucy Kennedy crashes out of Ardennes week

Aussie Lucy Kennedy is nursing a few broken bones after crashing hard in yesterday's Amstel Gold.

The Mitchelton-Scott rider has fractured her clavicle, scapula and eye socket. 

She announced the news via Twitter.
The 29-year-old was looking forward to Ardennes week with its three Women's WorldTour races Amstel Gold, Flèche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege suiting her riding style.

At this stage the required recovery time is not yet known.
