Ok, so Elsa in Frozen II - but that doesn't mean the animated movie's official soundtrack can't camp it up with a powerful array of lesbian love ballads.

Six years after 'Let It Go' first launched itself into the brains of children (and adults) around the world, the soundtrack for Frozen II is already delivering the goods - with one song in particular, 'Show Yourself', being branded a 'coming out' song by some fans online.

The ballad is performed by Idina Menzel and #Bicon Evan Rachel Wood.

I mean, just read the track's lyrics: “I’ve never felt so certain/ All my life I’ve been torn/ But I’m here for a reason/ Could it be the reason I was born?

“I have always been so different/ Normal rules did not apply/ Is this the day/ Are you the way/ I finally find out why?”

The lyrics continue: “Show yourself/ Step into the power/ Throw yourself/ Into something new/ You are the one you’ve been waiting for/ All of my life (All of your life)/ Oh, show yourself.”
Fans were quick to clock the song's queer undertones.

"Elsa literally has TWO lesbian love ballads in the frozen 2 soundtrack," one social media user tweeted. "This movie is about to be the gay movie of the year."

Another wrote of 'Show Yourself': Listening to it again, this is every bit as powerful as 'Let It Go' and every bit gay as hell if not more so."

They added: "It's a really beautiful song but hasn't been getting the same airtime as 'Let it Go'."

While queer fans of Frozen might be disappointed that Frozen 2 hasn't given Elsa a girlfriend, possibly due to the , there are in the franchise's third installment, which could still be years away.
