Netflix makeover series Queer Eye might've just screened its fourth season in two years (with a fifth on the way), but it's already back with a handful more heart-warming episodes - this time filmed in Japan.

that the TV special will see Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness “bring their expertise to Tokyo to make-better four heroes while experiencing Japanese cuisine, fashion, design, grooming, and culture firsthand.”

Japanese model-actress Kiko Mizuhara is also set to appear as the Fab Five's tour guide, with additional appearances from Japanese comedian Naomi Watanabe.

“Filming in Japan is a wonderful opportunity for us to work with four deserving heroes that will help showcase the incredible traditions and customs of their country.”

The series will likely be highly educational for international viewers. Back in 2016, audiences got a taste of LGBTIQ+ culture in Japan via Gaycation - which found the Japanese people weren't always welcoming of those living openly LGBTIQ+.

Queer Eye: We’re in Japan! is being released on Netflix November 1.
