Singer-songwriter Jason Mraz has sent the rumour-mill into overdrive, penning a heartfelt poem for members of the LGBTIQ+ community and hinting that he is bisexual.

The ukulele hit-maker behind award-winning song 'I'm Yours' wrote the poem for to celebrate Pride Month.

Titled 'Love Poem to the LGBTQ Community', the Mraz's poem reads: "Dear you / Thank you / You have inspired me / Re-wired me / You show me what strength is / You demonstrated courage over and over again / You risked so much for love."
It continues: "You never compromised your expression / Even when / Your rights and freedoms were being compromised / You stood up for me / You stood up for the world / And now the world is better because of you."

"We still have a long way to go / But know / I am bi your side / All ways."

Fans were quick to hone in on Mraz's use of the word 'bi' instead of 'bye' in the poem - a clear hint at his sexuality, according to some.
Mraz has made subtle comments about his sexual identity in the past, as "bisexually open-minded" in a 2005 interview.

During an interview with earlier this year, Mraz said: “Yeah, I’m keeping more of my options open these days."

He continued: “The older I get, the more fearless I become. That’s not to say I’m absolutely fearless."

"Man, I should be really careful with my words, especially with this question.”
