Lush Cosmetics launches line in support of transgender rights

One year after launching their inclusive , Lush Cosmetics have announced a new line of product to support transgender rights in the United States and Canada.

All proceeds from the line, named “Trans Rights Are Human Rights,” will go towards advocacy groups including the and the .
As part of the campaign, almost 5,000 Lush employees were given extensive training on trans issues, Lush campaign specialist Carleen Pickard said in an interview with
“The call for this campaign really came from our staff,” Pickard said. “So many of them, or their coworkers or friends, are trans or non-binary, so we want to support them, but also teach cisgender people how they can be good allies to this group.”
The has also been updated with a list of helpful resources, including a guide to respectful language.
