Sorry, we don't make the rules.

Having dropped her debut album last month (you can listen to it ), Peppa Pig has joined the ranks of The Babadook and Sophia the Robot as an unlikely gay icon.

It all started when a Twitter user pointed out that, according to Google, Peppa Pig stands at a staggering 7-feet tall. Then came the memes and hilarious

It wasn't long before rapper Lil Nas X was teasing a collaboration with the famous pig, with Iggy Azaela tweeting that, in the face of such stiff competition, it was "all over" for her music career.

In fact, so many members of the LGBTIQ+ community have been streaming Peppa Pig's album on Spotify, that the emerging singer's "related artists" now include Slayyyter, Rina Sawayama and rapper cupcakKe.
