The Fab Five are Emmy-nominees!

There were tears today as the cast of Netflix's Queer Eye reboot discovered that the show had been nominated for four Emmy Awards, including a nomination for Structured Reality Program. Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness were all together when the nominations were announced - and, luckily, the cameras were rolling.
The show will be coming up against fellow nominees Antiques Roadshow, Fixer Upper, Lip Sync BattleShark Tank and Who Do You Think You Are?.
However, it’s also up for three technical awards – Outstanding Cinematography For A Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing For A Structured Or Competition Reality Program and Outstanding Casting For A Reality Program

There was additional reason to celebrate for cast member Jonathan Van Ness, whose web series Gay Of Thrones was also nominated for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.
It's a big year for LGBTIQ+ television, with RuPaul's Drag Race, Will & Grace and Ryan Murphy's American Crime Story: The Assassination Of Gianni Versace all nominated in various categories.

RuPaul is nominated for Outstanding Host For a Reality or Reality-Competition Program award, facing off against the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Tim Gunn and Jane Lynch.
