It would appear that fashion giant Ralph Lauren has embraced diversity, releasing a new campaign video last week aimed at targeting a whole new generation of consumers.

“Family is like home," the narrator says in the ad.

"It feels like home wherever you are. Family is everything. It’s about laughing and crying and just totally loving each other no matter what."

Set to Patrick Watson's emotional track 'To Build a Home', the video, which already has over 900,000 views on , features an Asian family, a black family, people of all ages, and a lesbian couple.
"We live in a world where the meaning of family is bigger, broader and more personal than it has ever been before," Jonathan Bottomley, chief marketing officer at the New York retailer, said of the campaign.

"We believe that family is one of the most positive forces and powerful unifiers for all of us today," he continued, describing the new advertisement as a "fresh expression of that idea."

Part of the Polo Ralph Lauren Spring 2019 campaign, the ad is set to be expanded over print and social media.
