As RuPaul's Drag Race season 11 approaches its finale, fans are already looking ahead to Drag Race UK, which is set to premiere on BBC Three later this year.

Now, RuPaul and Michelle Visage have commented on the British series, which recently finished filming, opening up about the incarnation on their podcast What's The Tee?.

"I think people are going to be thrilled," Michelle said.

"When [the fans] see this show, they are going to flip," Ru added.
"I predict we will be doing this English edition of Drag Race for many years to come."

Michelle continued, saying that she believes the UK version of the show has a "different tone" to the original - an "Englishness, a Britishness about it".

"It has a charm the American one doesn’t have," she said.

"I think people are going to f**king love it."

The eight-episode series is expected to premiere in August 2019, with 10 British queens set to compete.
