The woman of the moment is Olivia Rodrigo.

The 17-year-old released a song 'Driver's Licence' on Friday and the song is storming the charts, breaking the Spotify record for most streams in a day for a non-holiday song, with over 15 million plays. The song went on to break its own record, later with 17 million streams.

The song has climbed up the charts on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and iTunes with the music video reaching nearly 26 million views on You Tube.
A self-confessed "Swiftie", the young star lists Taylor Swift and Lorde as her biggest inspirations. She has even won the support of superstar Taylor Swift, a moment she captured on her Instagram.
Rodrigo seemed overwhelmed by the overnight success of the song.

"uhhhhhh so drivers license is the number one song in the world rn. never in my wildest dreams did I expect this. thank u guys so much for listening. I can’t believe this is real life," she wrote on Instagram.

The actress and singer has already had a varied career, starring in Disney's High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, while also penning songs for the series.
