A Spice Girls super-fan has used the group's reunion tour as an opportunity to pop the question.

During the Spice Girls concert in Manchester last week, local man Lee Christie was welcomed onstage with his partner, Duane Watters, who initially appeared confused as to what was going on.

But then Christie got down on one knee and all became clear.

"Will you marry me?"

"Yes!" Watters replied to the big question, earning the couple a thunderous applause from spectators.
Then, according to Twitter users who were in the audience, Mel B offered the newly engaged couple some advice.

In a suspected shading of her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, she said: “Make sure you get a prenup."

Congratulations to the happy couple!
