Australia had MANY thoughts while watching The Ghan

Last night Australia discovered Slow TV and fell in love with The Ghan as it traveled across our sunburned land.

The first ever Australia-wide event made its debut with The Ghan on SBS. For three-hours, Australians were transfixed as the iconic train traveled across Australia from Adelaide to Darwin. 

At first viewers weren't sure, but everyone was won over by the end of the show.

People started out sceptical

But the more that people watched...

People started calling for Logies

They told their friends

It brought family together

Sacrifices were made

And then there were puns

It made people feel things and act in ways they hadn't expected
