Slow Summer gave SBS viewers a lot of thinking to do

After four weeks of gorgeous slow summer experiences, SBS viewers thoughts started going in all sorts of wild directions.

North To South

It was the last of five glorious slow television events over January. SBS viewers went on quite the journey with the Indian Pacific train, the Kimberley Cruise, a trip through Britain's extensive canal network with The Canal trip, and revisiting last year's cross-country journey with The Ghan. On the final evening, viewers were taken from one end of New Zealand to the other with North To South: NZ's Wildest Journey.

It was a journey that left viewers with a lot to think about:

There were viewers concerned about the local wildlife:
The architectural feats were a drawcard for some of the viewers:
Other viewers began thinking about the health benefits of watching TV this slow:
Even those who didn't watch it were stuck thinking about it:
And then there were those whose minds drifted entirely:
But, of course, most of us were all just thinking about how darn beautiful the whole experience has been:
