Terms & Conditions – Audience Contributions, SBS Eurovision Broadcast 2024


1. Any images, text or material (Material) submitted to SBS via Whatsapp (or posted with the hashtag #SBSEurovision) may be used by SBS in its programming for Eurovision 2024.

2. To the extent that there is any personal information in your Material you consent to SBS collecting and using that personal information for the purpose of its Eurovision programming.

3. The Material should be owned by you, and/or you should have obtained permission of any people featured in it, before communicating online or to SBS. You agree that the Materials are not AI generated and you license SBS to use the Material in our Eurovision programming.

4. SBS has discretion to choose if your comments, messages, photos and videos will be shared and included in the Eurovision programme. SBS does not guarantee that all material submitted will be used in Eurovision Programming. If you choose to voluntarily provide this information to us, you consent to us collecting it and handling it in accordance with this terms and conditions.

5. Any photos and other material involving children and young persons submitted on WhatsApp or other social platforms for inclusion in SBS’s Eurovision programming, must have obtained prior consent from the parents/guardians or an appropriate adult.

6. All personal information collected by SBS will be deleted shortly after the Event. However, SBS will retain elements of any Material which is incorporated in our Eurovision Programming. If your Material is incorporated in SBS programming, you consent to this Material as part of the Eurovision Programming, being kept, communicated in all media throughout the world in perpetuity by either SBS or its licensees.
