Winner of the 55th edition of Festivali i Kës, Albanian Kosovar Lindita will show off her pipes in Kyiv with the Bond-esque anthem of hope, “World”.

Her accompanying video-clip contains smacks of steampunk and echoes a cult '80s episode of Doctor Who hinting that her team is planning some onstage drama.

She’ll need it as the young Albanian will be facing another big Bond-style ballad in this semi-final and there may not be space for two in the grand final. After missing the main event last year, it would be fabulous to see Lindita qualify this unique Balkan nation for a tilt at the main prize.

Australia’s Isaiah will be sandwiched between the two Bond belters early on in the first semi-final, which could just work in his favour.
